But now it sounds like selling a leased car is a headache and I may have to pay sales tax and fees on it too. I was about to jump on that deal I was offered last week this week, but it seems the salesman I was talking to no longer works there so now I have to talk to someone else and hope they offer at least as good of a deal. Another issue is I wonder if I should check out some Mustangs a little closer as this place is a good 2 hour drive and I have yet to even test drive the new V6's or the new 5.0. They only have automatics around my area right now.
No, it's $26,000 with the X-Plan and AFTER the current $2,500 in rebates for a Base 5.0 GT.

Dang it, I should have jumped on that deal for $24.5k for the 2012 black GT! I was seriously thinking about it, but was waiting to see if I could sell my car first (which looks like it fell through) and then the dealer I was talking to left the company for some reason. So when I finally got to talk to the dealer they switched me to yesterday, he can't find the stang I was interested in and thinks it must have been sold. He did find another silver one, but I really didn't want another silver car as my last two were that color. He's going to check around and see what he can find, but it looks like the 2012 base 5.0's are getting rare due to the 13's coming out. I might look into a 13 V6 that way I can get the color I want and a few options, but I don't know, I may never get another chance to get 400hp at a reasonable price again.

I too just pulled the trigger on a 2009 V6 45th Anniversary Edition, GT suspension &
3.31:1 gear, 28,332 miles. It will put your head back on the headrest!
