Default T-lok vs CAI/Tune

So I took my car out to the drag strip on Saturday and my car was running pretty well! First time I took it out last year was when the car was all stock and I was constantly running 15.6-15.8. My car now has dual exhaust (straight pipes back from the cats to gt takeoffs). So the car consistently runs 15.0-15.3. Pretty decent improvement from just exhaust if you ask me.

Now Im curious as to what will get me to break 14's since I was so close on Saturday. I have alot of problems with traction since my one wheel tends to spin alot out of the whole. Will increased traction get me to break 14's? Or will it be better to go with the CAI/Tune first?

Yeah it should definitly push you much lower, especially with some better tires, but I will say if you havent heard some break. I have give mine heck and its still strong as I can tell but others have stories. I have had mine in for well over 40k and if your gonna get a CAI in a tune I would definitly get something to help traction because they make these cars a whole different animal

You're going to need both because I can tell once you break into the 14's you're going to want more. So you want both sooner or later but I would start with the tune since it gives the car a completely new personality based on the tune you run, A race tune will get you in the 14's and make the car a lot more fun to drive around town, Next you'll have to get a T-Lock to putt all the power to the ground, at that time you'll have to decide if you want to also change gears. If yes you'll need adjust the speedo and ad a tune for the gears.

ive got all that and run mid to upper 14`s. with my 1" taller rear tires (which kills some of my 3.73 gear ratio) i run pretty consistent 14.7..being n/a, you`ll find that 10ths are hard to come by, but cai/tune/tlok ect will help, so ya, your gonna want both. get the cai/tune first and stay out of the water box at the track

Start with the CAI/tune then go with the tlok and might as well do gears while you're at it
