Default 2010-12 GT 13.2" FRONT ROTORS ON A 07 V6

Has anyone upgraded their OEM 11.5" front rotors for the
newer 2011-12 GT front 13.2" rotors bypassing the older
2005-10 GT 12.4" front rotor upgrade?
I am guessing all you need are the 2010-12 GT caliper brackets
and the 13.2" rotors and maybe the larger 2010-12 front dust shields?
And 18" rims as well?
I have the 18" rims and the 11.5" rotors.
There seems to be 1.150" inbetween the calipers and the inner
rim diameter right now. Plenty of room for 0.850"s more rotor?

I have 2011 5.0 front brakes on my 2006, all you would need is the caliper brackets. The calipers themselves are the same across all platforms so it seems. As far as the clearance, I could not tell you, I run 18's so of course I have no issues. I can tell you this, then 13+ inch rotor definitely beefs up the look on the front.

Yep, the only way to get the brackets are either from Ford,
on eBay with the "GT" calipers (the same as the 05-10 S197)
or machine the 05-10 GT caliper brackets I now have with new
threaded mounting holes. Not an option.
Time to dump 75 more dollars into the 'money pit'...

BTW, I now have an extra set of 05-10 GT caliper brackets
for you V6 owners wanting to upgrade to 12.4" GT rotors.
Hint hint...

Lurking around on the other forums I found this choice post...
And part 2 to it.

Seems like I am on the wrong forum to get the answers.

How'd the install go? I just got a set of 2012 take offs from Roush. Need to paint the bracket red to match then it's getting installed.

I am still awaiting the arrival of the new
one-time-use fastners for the caliper brackets.

The dealership is so slow if its not an in house repair
and just a customer wanting hardware for a shade tree install...

I dont even think they ordered the hardware and are
just waiting me out until I give up and go away.

I am hoping to install mine this weekend. ill post how it worked. I know the new rotors are wider but the calipers look identical. I am going to try to run my original calipers with the new rotors and check fitment.

wow this seems like a great deal, I wonder if anyone will start selling just the rotors and brackets like newtakeoff did for the 12.4" which I am running right now...
