Default should i buy an automatic if i want a manual

in the whole eastern side of canada there is no manual transmission v6 mustangs that are 2011+. I have had 4 dealers looking for me as well as myself looking at private sale and nothing has come up for the last month or so. I cannot afford to buy a brand new 2013 cause im paying for the car in full and dont want to lose that much money so should i just keep waiting or go buy an automatic?

I say wait. I was getting a 5 speed originally but it sold when i was on the way with a deposit. Got a great deal on the auto so I went for it. Granted it is fun with the built trans, stall and tune, but i still regret not getting the manual

You should wait for the manual. If you buy the automatic you will never be 100% satisfied with the car. Then you will be posting on here "How hard is it to convert a auto to manual".

Think if it is worth it to you to look really hard to get a stick or would you be ok with an auto. I have an 06 Gt with an auto and my Bama tune and CAI really firmed up the shifts and made the shifts quicker than I ever could in a stick. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a stick but it all comes down to what you want.

I know the feeling, when I was looking to buy a new Mustang, all the local dealers were selling automatics. I knew what I wanted and wouldn't settle for anything else. The dealer called it's sister store who just happened to have my car sitting on a car carrier. It just came in straight from the factory!
I love my 5 speed! I say wait for one, you will be happy you did!

Coming from someone who owns an auto...
If you want a manual, get a manual, I'm sure you'll regret picking up an auto if you want the opposite. I don't regret getting an auto, all my driving is city driving.
It'll probably be worth the wait.
