Well said. So what all forged internals would I have to get to support the turbo?

You dont have to initially. The stock internals will handle 10-12 pounds of boost just fine with a good conservative tune. If you want to go higher then get forged stuff.

Agree with Stags, by a good kit and yes, stock internals can do fine with good tune and being smart. I ran the Powerhouse kit on my 4.0 and run it now on my 5.4 swap.

I had the stock 5r55, and had a spare I picked up as once I started running sub 11.5's, the 3-4 shift started lagging but only at WOT. Before I widowed my built block, I was looking at these upgrades for my second transmission...
