Default In the 12's today!

that's my goal! going to the drag strip today, just got some new tires (nittos) if the clutch holds I got a 12 easy. I'll post time slips later fellows I not gonna leave real aggressively cause I don't want to break anything, so I'm going to leave right around 1200 rpm. a 12.5 would make my day, but it's gonna be 88 degrees today so 12 anything would be great.

.23 seconds less with better tires may be possible. If you got 3.73s, I'd say it's in the bag. Good luck!

well guys just as I thought, the clutch wouldn't hold. my 60 ft was no better with the drag radials, it spun the clutch in 1st and 2nd to the best 60 ft time of 2.2, I tired many methods, but nothing would prevent it. sighhhhh OK..... It's Spec time, definitely gonna be my next mod. best time of the day was a 13.5 @107

If you won't/can't get an 8.8 at least get a T-Lok... That will help with sticking a better launch.

I will have an 8.8, just trying to find a deal. if the clutch didn't slip she would have hooked, those tires are bad ace! on the street it hooked better than the track, the track had no give and it over powered the clutch, on the street there was a slight slip of the tire, then it just took off.

Man, I am surprised that clutch isn't completely gone yet! Mine started slipping about a week after the supercharger and was on its way out for sure.
