Hi...

I guess I forgot to update when I finished the install....

I installed the whole system in my driveway... and Im a violin teacher....so, I think most could do this.

I have the xcharger with aluminum drive shaft and 8.8 w/3.73's auto tranny.
Car is very quick... you can roast the tires thru first and second if thats your thing...

Its fun, but after a month or so, not worth the 5k dollars I paid for it... the sound demands attention when you stomp it... all heads turn trying to figure out what the hell is that!

All in all- I'd give it the following rating-
quality- 9 out of 10
price-3 out of 10
power increase- (for a v6) 7.5 out of 10
fun factor- 8.5 out of 10

the best thing about it... "I live in Memphis, home of some of the rudest, most aggressive drivers in America... anyway, there is nothing like seeing the look on the face of an arsehole trying to cut you off, as you blow the doors off of him in an instant.. then you look down and you are doing over 100mph... why do you not think its worth the money? just because the power isnt as much as you thought it would be?

I think (and I could be wrong about OP) what he means like many people is that eventually it just feels normal again... I know personally, anything around 500rwhp feels normal to whereas years ago I thought it was the craziest and fastest thing ever. Now it's just ehh, it's the constant hunt for more power.

Sounds just like after I did my exhaust and intake. It felt fast for like 10 minutes and then I wanted more. A supercharger might fix that for me, so philips hand over your x-charger since you don't like it anyway!

I like it.. its just not as awesome as you read on here... I paid nearly 4800 dollars for the 2.8 Hi Pro version with tune... Thats pretty steep.. The xcharger prices went up by 500 dollars per kit 1 week before I ordered mine...sigh...

Runs good, looks good, just expensive... if money is no object for you, go for it! I still owe 900 dollars on mine.. maybe I'll feel better once it is paid for.
