Just arrived this afternoon, putting the CAI on now, I've only used up one tank of 91 octane, should i wait to use the 91 tune and just use the 87 for now until i go through so more tanks of 91 or can a go ahead and use the 91 tune now? Thanks for the help

You should be fine running the 91 tune BUT... I always recommend that people run their lowest octane tunes first, just to get a feel for each one as you incrementally go up in octane. Many folks don't realize the drastic change from the 87 stock tune to the 87 custom tune. From there the difference isn't quite as drastic as you go to the next octane tune but still quite noticable.

Enjoy.

Thanks, I've tried them all 3 out now and I don't regret spending $600 on it anymore

Lol, I don't think a tune/CAI will turn it into a "V8 chaser"

Congrats on the tune/CAI, how do you like it so far?

yeah, my CAI/custom tune, aluminum driveshaft, and 8.8 with 3.73's wasn't a "v8 chaser"... although.. i believe that from 0-60 it was a drivers race....

Now I have a xcharger... and its a different story
