Interesting, I did see an older post recommending sycromax as the replacement but I'm not so sure. It is specified for a trans that uses ATF or engine oil, which leads me to believe it is a heavier design.
The T5's use ATF only so I'd have thought your issues would have popped up sooner though if it is heavier. Hopefully I'll get some clarification from RP support.

LOL, so you think you can get the thread back on track that easily:-)
That's they only way I can see to interpret it. They say its not for the six speed and I don't see no others listed.

I kept the OEM shifter and used a Saleen Short Shifter Kit.
It fit the V6 model as well...
Its been in there for about 5 years now and still works flawlessly.
I also swapped the shifter **** and shortened the OEM shaft on the
topside. Way to many 12Mx1.25 threads there for my liking.
Prothane Poly bushings for the shifter mounts went in there as well.
I highly recommend them. The rubber bushings are no good once
you shorten the throw. And no 2nd to 3rd missed shifts.
This was one of my first mods.
I got into a non modified V6 the other day and man
is that OEM throw long.

and now for the jacker...

Amsoil over the RP carp they sell in the auto part stores
any day, hands down...
