Default strut tower

ok, so just by eyeballing under the hood the GT and the V6 appear to be the same as far as mounting of a strut tower brace. how come all the stuff i see as far as a strut tower brace u can only install on the GT. what is the differance that you cant use one on the other? is it just a marketing ploy?

There are a few V6 braces out there.

The main issue is that the V6 is a 60 degree engine (the two cylinder banks are 60 degrees apart around the crank) whereas the V8 is a 90 degree engine, allowing the intake manifold to nestle lower into the "V" since there's more room.

One V6 strut brace
