Default Airaid cold air intake VS Roush cold air intake

Had anyone on here used the cold air intake that is made by Airaid? I was looking at this intake on American Muscle and see that it doesn't require a tune, but when paired with a tune it makes about the same amount of power as the C&L intake. I also like the fact that the tubing is plastic which helps for heat. I was either looking into this intake or the Roush intake which actually looks like it's the exact same as the airaid.

Airaid is the company that makes the Roush CAI. ROush just puts their name on it and sells it at a higher cost. I have an Airaid CAI and am really happy with it, after I got the custom tune. Do not expect much of a gain without the custom tunes, maybe 3-5 HP!

The01Cav,

Airaid actually makes all the intakes for Roush now, that's why they're very simliar . You'll love the gains from an Airaid Intake and it will get you ready for some serious gains when you pull the trigger on a tuner!

Airaid Cold Air Intake Systems are computer designed to give your engine maximum air flow, which translates to more horsepower, torque and improved fuel efficiency. Airaid intakes are also Dyno tested and tuned for maximum performance and efficiency.

Let me know if you have any questions. We really appreciate you business.

- Dan

AirAid roto molds the ROUSH intakes on their roto molds.
Roush jacks the price up for the name and sells them as ROUSH.

One and the same.
