I have the same problem. What it cost to have struts and mounts installed by the shop?

Ok, called shop, 170.00 shop time. mite do it myself. Those gt take offs, are they compatible with existing hardware? Says in ad they don't come with any hardware. Basicly wanting to know if thats all i need.

The existing hardware appears to be identical part numbers. Doing it yourself will save you a lot of money for sure and it's not too difficult. There are plenty of guides in the how-to section that can help you out.

Those EBAY's look like a great deal. 2013 strut bearing mounts I would think have the popping sound fixed by now, plus they are made for the heavier V8. Thanks so much for the info....I think I will order that package.

Also I recommend just removing one of your existing strut mount nuts and testing it on the new strut before you tear everything apart; again the part numbers seem to be universal throughout the years but it might save you some time. If needed/an option it looks like Ford offers the strut mount nuts for like $6 a pack of four, you'll need two packs.
