Default buying a v6 with performance package

Hi all,

I have a dream and its owning a mustang. I have been researching and so far what appeals to me and my budget is the v6 premuim with the performance package. Price is around the $30,000 msrp.

Any tips or info which would help me get this down please.

Also any advice on the gear ratio question.

Thanks mark

Hello mark. If you were going to spend that much id say get the 5.0! It will be all around a funner car then the v6. Anyways.. the v6 is an all around great car with the 300 horsepower engine. I am pretty sure if you keep looking you can find some for close to 26k? Try finding one used it will be way cheaper

I would buy a pre-owned 5.0 at that price point.

Depreciation is killer, let someone else do it by buying pre-owned and get more for your money.

Hi and thanks for all input. Looking for something to stand out from the crowd. I like the gts but not the wheels. The 19,s 2012 v6 performance package wheels with the mca package just look good. But as you say a lot of dosh and quick to depreciate. Any ideas in terms of a stand out car out there I don't know about. Many thanks mark.

Its called modding. If you don't like the stock wheels, go buy the ones you want and sell the stock ones, or keep them for winter wheels.

If you still want a sixxer, well its your car but the 5.0 at that price point is the better choice IMO.

I would recommend looking at pictures and see what strikes you the most, its going to be your car and your personality.

Some basics for show are wheels, stripes, exhaust, louvers.
