Second opinion needed on shaking steering wheel.

Yea, my tires had the 'nibbles' when they were
worn smooth on the tread and being replaced
with new tire.
'Nibbles' dont mean a thing to me except that
the tires were formed with a two piece mold...
Your calipers dont look that new to me.
Full of 10K miles of brake dust.
The OEM Pirellis are junk and probably the source of your 'wobble' at 60.
Your front wheel bearing assemblies are not liking the 'wobble'
and will be telling you about it very soon...
Either way, its not a good situation and just kus every Ford
you have owned did it does not make it right.

So I take it those are the stock pirellis that the car came with? If those haven't been replaced before (which it doesn't look like they have) chances are you have 5-6 year old tires, and with only 10K miles on an 07 probably some flat spotting and dry rot, which could very well give you "wobbles".
And I take it you haven't had the wheels balanced before? There's no easy way to trouble shoot your problem without you taking the necessary steps.

My pony is not my daily driver anymore, so when it sits for several days or more, it always has a steering wheel shake getting up to speed for the first 5 miles or so, then it smooths out. I guess the tires are flat spotting due to being dormant for so long. Sometimes it is quite a shake, don't know what I could do about it, short of jacking the car up when it sits, which isn't going to happen.

I take it this little bugger is what you guys are talking about? I can see how the stock would clear and the new ones wouldn't...

I updated the list on the OP, all I can do now is a roadforce and see what happens, I'm starting to think it's the wheels/tires...

Might want to contact AM and see what they recommend and what they can do. I honestly wouldn't have dumped all that money into it if I had this problem, I would of have contacted them first.
I haven't really had shimmy issues lately but I notice it more with my Nitto's than I do my Michelin X-Ice 2 winter tires on stock rims..

steering wheel shimmy solved!
Bought 2008 GT500 with 11,700mi. Shimmy between 70 and 75! New tires balanced every way you can think of! Clips removed. Jacked front of car up and spun tires! Drag at times on right front! Bought new rotors and pads and drag was still on right front! What the heck!!! The only other ting would be the hub! Shoved some more money in the hole and replaced the hub! EUREKA!! Fixed. Either hub was defective from factory or lug was over tightened!! Love my GT500 now!
