Default Changing the front Bumper from V6 to GT

Okay, I am new here and got a popular question which I have not been able to find a clear cut, yes or no answer to after searching like 50+ sites on google.

I own a 2008 v6 Mustang with a pony package, and my front it is a little damaged so I was wondering if I would be able to replace it with a 2005-2009 Ford Mustang GT Bumper?

Read enough to know that my grills will not fit, so I plan on ordering new ones.

Would there be any problems?
For example, leaving gaps between the headlights etc...

As I know it, at the least, you change the bumper, the styrofoam support behind the fascia, the grille and the splash shields. I have seen a couple where it looks like a gap at the bottom of the headlights but not sure if that's because they didn't change the styrofoam bumper support.

Bolts right up. Splash guards & the grille need changing. People say you need other parts, you really don't. I have very small gaps under the edge of my Bullitt grille. I'm guessing the styrofoam piece is a little taller than that GT one but there's definitely not enough gap to worry me!

As far as I know, all you NEED is the styro support, grille, and splash guards.
Does anyone know if the v6 fog wiring harness will mate up with a gt grille?

I believe you can just cut down the Styro on ours to match the size of the GT one, I did it. Just that and the splash guards is pretty much all you need to change out.

Things you NEED:
Upper Grille for GT
GT Bumper

Things you SHOULD get:
GT fender shields - (without them you will have a gap between the bottom of the front fent sections of the fender shield and the bottom of the bumper. I've had it this way for awhile. Doesn't look great, but its fine.)
There is also a radiator shield or something that is recommended. I did not get that piece and my car has been fine for two years without it.

It is a good upgrade, completely changed the look of the front end.

Not different.
The PP has GT connectors and PP pigtail adapters for the PP fogs.
Remove the PP adapters and you have GT connectors.
The lower GT air deflector is also needed for proper cooling.
Most dont even know that tidbit of info.

GT part# 5R3Z 17626-BA is the lower radiator cover
