Default rear window defroster and tinting

I got my 07 used from the dealer. The original owner had the windows tinted. I don't know the percentage but to me they don't look very tinted.
My question is when I need to defrost or defog my rear window, the rw defroster doesn't work as well as on my old 98. All wires seem to be working.
I didn't know if the tinting could be affecting it or if there is a way for me to
tell if its not getting enough juice or something. Of course, if it turned out to
be expensive, I'd just live with it.

Just curious.....

Thks,

bigrich

tint no effecty the heat output capabilities.
Check voltage at the defroster wires with it on
and check for excessive voltage drop.
