Actually you clear better with the factory 17's than with the factory chrome 18 inch Bullitts. I have probably the least amount of clearance you'd want to run, but I have no problems, and wouldn't change a thing. I thought about 1/4 inch spacers, but I didn't gain much, so I stayed absolutely stock with the parts.

I have a set of the 10 spoke (5 double spokes) GT rims from an 07 that had much more clearance than the Bullitts. I put them on my 02 Explorer and talk about a difference. Ford should of put the 8.5 inch wide rims under all the Exploders. They made it so it cornered like the Mustang after putting them on.
