I used two relays but only one was high current Fog Light relay.
The other was a simple reed relay with the coil wired to the high
beams so the fogs would operate with the high beams regardless.

I ordered so far:
- SW-6659 switch
- fog light grill + fog lights

anyone can help me with the references of the harness I need to buy ? or a link

and I also need to buy a relay, right ?

edit: if the pony package has factory fog lights, I should just be able to find which fuse the fogs use and plug them directly there without any control wires, right ? this would be assuming that ford routed the control wires same for v6 without pony package and with.

If you have the PP you already have fog lights and dash switch. Why not use your original harness and get the two adapter plugs for the bulbs. They are only about 10 bucks on eBay for a set. Or am I missing something in the post?

I do not have the pony package.

So I guess I'll order power cables with Same socket to plug to the fuss box.

Do I really need to add the control wires to the new headlight switch ?

I would have thought that ford would have let the feature there weather the user ordered fog lights or not. It would be a lot easier for them to build the car

Unfortunately if the car didn't come with the fog light option from the factory, it is not pre-wired for fog lights. It didn't used to be this way, but more and more new vehicle models are configured this way.

We have a wiring kit which is offered with both H10 and H11 connectors so you won't need any adapter plugs.

It's expensive, but it's a well made piece and takes the guess work out of the installation. Takes about 30 minutes to install from start to finish. The Starkey kit also turns the fog lights off when you shut the car off. This sounds like a no brainer, but some of the other options out there do not shut the fog lights off automatically. If you still have a manual switch its not a big deal, but if you are using the auto headlamps switch it sort of defeats the purpose of having automatic lights.

Sounds like an excellent kit and well worth the money spent.
