Front Brake Roters on the rear axle?
Ok, So I've been reading quite a few threads about brake upgrades for V6 and V8 mustangs. Most of the threads I have read involve swapping 12.? or 13.2 inch rotors (takeoffs) from 2011 or 2012 Mustangs onto the s197 generation.
I haven't seen any threads about what they did to upgrade the rears. So now I'm wondering how much benefit would be seen from moving the front rotor / calipars to the back if I do upgrade my front brakes.
I can't be the only one who has wondered this... or experimented if they would fit.

The fronts rotors are thicker that the rear rotors so that wont work.
The calipers wont fit and the brackets are different.
Wont work unless you tottally redesign them.
The rear calipers would be the same size as the fronts
if you put front calipers back there and that no worky either...
One word, NO.
Thats why there are no threads about it...
