Default NOS Octane Booster Racing Formula

Has anyone had any experience with the NOS/Nitrous Oxide Systems Octane Booster Racing Formula?

I have heard mixed reviews about this product. It claims that it will raise your octane by 6 full numbers (60 points), which i find a little hard to believe. I have heard that if you run it in street motor (say <300rwhp daily drivers) that it can foul plugs in as little as one tank.

If anyone has had experience with this product or knows more about it, i would greatly appreciate the input. Thanks

Thats Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbony
and it will toast your cats.
Metalized Magnesium. Yuck.
91 Octane out of the pump or nothing for me, thank you.
Search MMT on the internet and see.....

Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl (MMT or MCMT) is an organomanganese compound with the formula (CH3C5H4)Mn(CO)3. Marketed as a supplement to the gasoline additive tetraethyllead to increase a fuel's octane rating, MMT was later used in unleaded gasoline. Following the implementation of the Clean Air Act (United States) (CAA) in 1970, MMT continued to be used alongside TEL in the US during the phase-out of leaded gasoline (prior to TEL being finally banned from US gasoline in 1995) and was also used in unleaded gasoline until 1977. Ethyl Corporation obtained a waiver from EPA in 1995. The waiver allows the use of MMT in US unleaded gasoline (not including reformulated gasoline) at a treat rate equivalent to 8.3 mg Mn/l.[1]

MMT has been used in Canadian gasoline since 1976 at a concentration up to 18 mg Mn/l (though the importation and interprovincial trade of gasoline containing MMT was restricted briefly during the period 1997-1998)[2][3] and was introduced into Australia in 2000. It is sold under the tradename HiTEC® 3000.[4] It was also marketed as Ecotane by T2 Labs.

Most are MMT.
Stick with the Octane ratings at the pump.
You need 93 Octane?
Pump 93 Octane.

Maybe in an emergency out on the
road where 93 cant be obtained yet
a 93 tune is installed...
Once in a great while.
The damage to the cats is long term
use, not instantaneous...

Yes, what i was going to do with this (if it was a good safe product) was add it to the 93 octane and try adding more timing on top of the custom tune setup.

I doubt that adding timing with the additional octane will give you anywhere NEAR the gain you're hoping for. There's more to power and performance than just timing and octane with respect to our tunes. That's why a good custom 87 octane tune runs circles around the factory 87 tune.
