That came out looking really nice. So you didnt even use painters tape or anything huh? Just coated all around it then scored it with a knife around the outside and inside of the emblem? My model doesnt have the keyhole so I wont have to worry about that.

Default All finished

Well, just got done and Im happy with the results but I think I may revert the front pony back to chrome to match the rear emblem. The rear decklid emblem's chrome surround and colors are blacked out. Let me know what you think!

It looks OK. I think the faux cap would look better either all black or black out the chrome lines around the pony.

I actually like the look of the chrome lines on the faux gas cap, I wouldn't have thought to do it that way.

I did the trunk the same way, painters tape square. And then just peel it off. The trunk looks great. I'm not so sure about the front...

sorry i didnt see this thread till later, but i actually spray painted mine. sanded it down real good, taped off the middle, then hit it with like 5-6 coats of spray paint and then 3-4 coats of clear. lasted me about 4 years till i just repainted the back this summer. need to repaint my side badges soon though they finally started chipping. if you need me to i can try and dig up the thread, but you already did it so looks fine to me lol
