Cool Shorty Headers worth it?????

OK who knows the truth do shorty headers make any difference???

On the 4.6 shorties do little. On the 4.0 assume they do a little less than little.

trying to match something up with this 93 octane diablo tune and jlt stage 2 intake on the way, that requires a tune, also demon coils and taylor wires any ideas bro?????

Really descriptive title there "??????" - makes it really easy to search later.
I added to your title for the thread so that people can see if it is something to click on or to search later.

And shorties provide a little better tone to the exhaust note, but don't do anything for performance to speak of.

No need for the swap to the Screamin Demon coil. The stock coil is good, and some have had problems with the demon coil.

there is a small HP gain and a different tone to your exhaust.

A small follow up question, if I may.

What is the difference between Tuned headers and (I assume) non-tuned headers?

Given the response above, I would assume that they just make a better exhaust note. Prior to this thread, I would have thought that it would be tuned to increase scavenging of the exhaust.

Thoughts?
