compare gt with v6 transmission

compare gt with v6 transmission

I heard from someone,
08 mustang 4.6L ,4.0L transmission are same
it's true?
therefore, It seems quite familiar change 4.0 to 4.6

They are the same transmission on the automatic, but the input shafts and housing are not the same. So not interchangeable between V6 and V8

So I give up the 4.6 project
But I still gotta looking for making a fastcar project

You don't have to give up, you just have to change the transmission too. And the driveshaft. And the radiator. And the ECU. And the under-hood wiring harness. And exhaust. And other stuff.
