I've noticed a few threads on this subject so if you have the problem this might be the cause.....

I noticed a couple times since I got my car that the carpet in the trunk was wet on the right side. I didn't think much of it - assumed it was a leaking water bottle or something I had in the trunk. Then I grabbed a jacket out of the trunk last week and it was really wet, so I took it to the dealer.

Turns out the rear window was leaking where the defroster plugs in -- it wasn't sealed properly. They called out a glass guy who pulled it off and resealed it. They tested it and it didn't leak anymore.

Also, just in case anyone is searching for solutions to this and come across this thread, I'd like to say that the water can be easily drained out by removing the floor mat and spare tire and then pushing down on one of the drain plug grommet things at the bottom (wires are routed through it until it pops out. I know this seems obvious but it took me a full day to figure that out so in case anyone else doesn't know I thought I'd post it.

Even more obvious is to make sure that you
REINSTALL or pop the drain plug back in after
draining the water.
If not, you will have a wet spare tire well the
next heavy rain drive you take...
