Coolant leak
#2
Most likely you have a cracked thermostat housing. The plastic housing is a common failure, and hard to predict when it will go. My 2006 got to 199,881 before the housing cracked, others have had to replace it at 30,000 miles. Look at the back side of the housing and it is probably blowing coolant back into the valley under your intake manifold.
The swap is easy to do, and there is now an aluminum replacement available also (aftermarket not dealer)

The thermostat housing is known to fail due to being made out of plastic. The upper and lower are sealed together and with the heat, it splits and the coolant starts too leak trough.
Also, cracked hoses, hoses not clamped correctly or reservoir cracked will cause coolant leaks.
Worse case scenario is a cracked head, which requires an immediate fix!
I replaced my thermostat housing 6 months ago, however I am still experiencing a leak somewhere, but not sure where!
