GT Style Fog Lights

GT Style Fog Lights
does anyone know if its possible to hook up the GT oem grille mounted fog lights to switch on with the headlights without supplied wiring? Maybe splicing the factory wire, but will that provide enough power? Anyone have ideas?

A Bosch style relay would be needed.
And a fuse holder.
Just trigger the relays coil with the 12Volt
low beam wire for either side headlight
instead of the switch in the wiring diagram below.
Source the relays Normally Open contacts with
fused 12Volts and send it on out to the fog lamps.

I'm no electrician. That looks complicated. Maybe it's best if I just save money and buy the whole set including the hardware.
But hey, maybe one day I'll understand it enough. Can't get under my hood right now because of the snow and cold.

I put a GT front end on mine, and had to buy the wiring kit for the foglights. I don't remember it being too much, but yes, they have relays in the harness. Also, I had to get a different headlight switch. With the foglights, you'll need the headlight switch that pulls out to turn them on (if you want that factory feel anyway). It has been so long I do not remember who I bought them from. I'll look in my glove box tonight, I usually keep something of any/all mods to my car. However, when I moved to Hawaii I had to clean everything out, and not everything made it back in unfortunately. I'll look though.
