Just a question: Doesn't your V6 MPG suffer after changing the gear and putting a supercharger and all other mods which have been mentioned? Not to mention, using premium fuel when you ad supercharger? I don't care what people think about my ride, but wouldn't a V8 make more sense instead of paying for all these mods on a V6 to go faster?

You could do what I'm doing, and rip out all the nanny-state computer controlled crap, and swap in a real engine with nothing but a throttle cable between you and the motor...

Whether a V6 or 8, we all have Mustangs and supposed to be one Happy Family to admire one another.

Another note, a stock 2006 V6 vs stock GT, the V8 wins by 40 feet in the qtr mile. I never converted that into seconds, but guess would be 2 second max. I wonder if that really matters in daily driving?

I wonder what the difference in todays stock 6 vs 8 would be in the qtr mile.

Unhappy No love for v6's

I have a 2013 mustang 3.7 (here goes all the why not a 5.0 questions) I was 18 years old when I got the car as a graduation gift from my parents. And yes I wanted a 5.0 so bad as my first car but insurance for an 18 year old is crazy. My big question is why hasn't anyone made camshafts or intake manifolds for the v6 yet? I've looked everywhere for almost 2 years and still nothing. I've basically done everything possible for power adders other than boost because it's too expensive.

Mods list:
Airaid cia
Aluminum 1-piece driveshaft
BBk lt headers
BBk catted x-pipe
BBk throttle body
Magnaflow competition cat-backs
Bama hybrid race tune
3.73 gears
Shelby wheels with 255/35/20 front 285/30/30 rear nitto tires
dreaming of camshafts and intake manifolds
