Default Smithy Glassback mufflers?

Can any of you tell me about Smithy exhaust? An old timer out there told me this would be the muffler replacement to have. I see they are glassbacks. Are they street legal. Any thoughts as to whether they would be something to do to a 2005 V6?

i have them on my 70 429 cobra and they sound good. my experience with them years ago on small engines was they are back about popping back when decelerating. they are cheap enough that if you don't like them you can replace them with something else without denting your pocketbook to much. i have dynamax with true duals and no H pipe on mine and am very happy. $130 total at my local shop.

What Dynamax model do you have? I was looking at those too. How would you compare those to Flowmaster Super 40s?
I am concerned about the interior drone sound on the Super 40s, although they say it is less than the regular 40s

Thanks for the feedback.... What do you mean by popping back when decelerating... Is that bad for the engine, or just annoying? These sound like about as close as I can get to the older V8 sound.... Even considering it is a little V6....
Again thanks for the comments...

"Popping" is just a sound issue. Some muffler/engine combos will make a sort of "Puh puh puh" sound when you let off the peddle to decelerate. Doesn't hurt anything, but many people don't enjoy the car sounding that way.

Good point, let me rephrase that: Many people that don't become sexually aroused by the sight of carbon fiber don't care for exhausts that sound that way
