Did Ford use locktite on the tps sensor screws?
Still dealing with P2135 code I've bought a tps sensor and I'm about to go replace it... Is it just a simple plug and play part, no re calibration or anything needed? Also I thought I read somewhere in the past that Ford used locktite on the screws that hold the sensor, is this true - and if so should I be using it when putting in the new part?
My issue has gotton really bad and I stall all the time (in an automatic), and sometimes RPMs will go up to 3k but it'll accelerate like a lawn mower. Starting to wonder if it's the entire Throttle Body...

To answer the questions for anyone in the future - yes they used blue locktite, and yes I broke the head off of one screw, and to remove the plugin pull the red thing back and squeeze and pull hard, it'll come out.

i had to put two washers before the torx screw to tighten it. had to buy a new t25 because the one i had was old and stripped a screw. If that didnt fix ur problem you should check for a fuse that burns out that causes the car to go into failsafe mode and run like crap
