Default 05-10 Auto trans pan change

Has any of you replaced your AT pan with one of these?

I am thinking about doing it. This way I can service my own transmission and check the fluid.
Question I also have I need some opinions on. My 06 has 220k miles on it. I do not know if it ever had a trans service. Is it a good idea to do one or could there be a chance of with a new fluid change, that it could disrupt something and I could have failure?
Thanks for your input.
Matt

change the fluid every 36k miles and the trans will last you longer. having a pan with a drain makes it so much easier.
