Has anyone added 8" woofers to the base audio system? I'm replacing the factory 6x8's in the doors with JBL GTO8628's and wanted to add woofers in the doors to help with mid-bass. I'm adding a 10" Sundown SA-10 in the trunk for my real bass.

you'd need the entire door trim panels from a car that had the Shaker system. The enclosures for the 8" woofers are built into the trim. after that, it's all wiring.

Thanks for the info! Maybe I'll see how the JBL's sound with an amp before I go through the brain damage of adding the subs to the door
