Just re-read your original post. Are you inquiring about the Mustang emblems on the front fender or the body side stripes?

Anyway, Pony Packages available from 2006 to 2008 had traditional Pony body side emblems on the front fenders. The Pony Package was not available in 2005.

I believe all V6 mustangs had the 45th anniversary body side emblems in 2009, including the Pony Package.

All V6 mustangs had side stripes by default, with a stripe delete option from the factory. The Pony Package had the Thin - Thick - Thin design. The regular V6 had the Thick - Thin Line - Thick design.

If you see a V6 '05 - '09 V6 Mustang with body side door molding, that was available on fleet orders. More than likely a rental.
