Cool 7.5 torsen is it worth it?

Okay, ready to install a torsen diff in my 2008 7.5 rear end. But is it worth it? A $500 part. The Auburn ain't cheap either. And the Yukon is like a copy of the Trac-Loc for $450. Is it worth the extra fifty bucks? Will it hold up to 200 HP?
I think it will, its basically stock. Or shall I just save up for a down payment on a 2015?
Anybody else put a Torsen in a 7.5? (below 300 HP)
Any thoughts?

Swap a 8.8 and don't waste money on the 7.5 build.

@ JJHoover

Dude, that is quite possibly the best link I have ever clicked on!
I think I am taking back my 7.5 Torsen and getting the 4.10 8.8. I found one for $900!
plus shipping. What was your shipping charge? I am guessing mine will be $200
So if I get that, I will need a Cobra flange, and that's it, right? Should just bolt right on. Bleed the brakes, hook up the parking brake cable, torque the bolts and Done?

Shouldn't even need to bleed the brakes because there is no need to open the brake system. Essentially just bolt in and go. If the rear end came out of a 2011+ it may already have the correct flange so double check before you swap.

I live 5 hours away so I just drove up there and picked it up. You will have to check on the rear yoke, some were changed. I just bought a new drive shaft with the correct rear yoke on the drive shaft.

there is an additional cost for the GT rear yoke if you go this way.

Whoah cool! You just put it in your hatchback lol Cheaper than freight that's fer sure,
Unfortunately here in Michigan I will have to get it shipped. I will probably use MY brakes then and not the ones that come with the axle; those brakes wont fit in a 16" wheel anyway lol. My 18" summer wheels can.
So as for the Yoke.....The cobra flange should fix that, I read it somewhere in a forum. American Muscle has it among other mustang/racing sites.
So the hardest part about this swap is probably:

1. Moving the part(s) in place, out of place

2. Freeing the rusty bolts

3. laying on the cold winter cement on my back in my garage to do the work

I may wait till May :-)
