Default 2012 V6 fog: LED replacements

Looking to see if anyone replaced the halogen fog lamps in the 2011-2012 fog lights. The ones that came with the pony package in the lower bumpers. I bought the wiring and switch kit but wanted to install LEDs instead. Was going to buy the whole starkey kit with the wiring, bezels and halogen lamps, but find that it's cheaper to buy the parts separately on ebay. Now I see round 9 LED lamps that look like they will fit. They have the same ford reference # 4F9Z15200AA and I hope they are the exact fit for the halogens.

I installed LED's in mine along with the AM fog light kit. I use them as DRL's.. LED's are a whiter light but won't give you as much coverage on the road. For looks, go LED, for usability I would stick with halogens or go HID.

Thanks UCINN, I'll probably use the halogens, to get better light coverage. Your car looks sharp with the headlights. I just replaced the stock halogen headlight bulbs with LED bulbs. Got a decent brand so they shine pretty bright, but the coverage is spotty. I might just go back to good halogens in headlights and get the halogen fogs.

Thanks. I kept the halogens in the headlights because the LED's cancel out the halos but with the halogens being more yellow, the halos stick out more with the headlights on.
