Default for dual exhaust I'm lost

I want a dual exhaust for my V6 2005 mustang but I don't know where to get it and what kind. I would like something nice and burbbly with a deep tone and nothing too high pitched sounding so what brand and kind should I go with. I know nothing about cars what so ever, lol.

Go to the V6, 2.3L, and Turbo forum and click the exhaust sticky. Autobadges made a list of what kinds of exhaust systems are out there and how each of them sound. Now your 05-06 modle will have a slightly different sound than the 94-04s, but it won't be that much different from what's listed. If I were you then I would consider borla, or a GT cutoff exhaust with an X pipe. The H will give you a slightly deeper, but louder sound than the X will, but you won't get as big of a hp gain, only about 1-3 hp less, but every little bit helps. Also, look on ebay, mustangtuning.com, v6mustangstuff.com, autobadges.com, and rpmoutlet.com for some exhaust packages.

Jthorn9,

got a gallery of your ride? would love to see some pics.

Matthew7064,

I know a lot of people that have been very happy with GT takes offs with an Xpipe setup. I had a single GT take off, and it sounded great compared to stock, and gave me an idea of what to it will sound like with duals. In fact I have both GT take off mufflers sitting in the garage if you want em. I've been lazy on getting them to ebay. LOL.

Well I would if I had a digital camera with the sofrware, but I don't and since Katrina that's not the main thing on my mind, so the cervinis clip will have to do for now. Even if I had one getting a picture of my car and taking the time to post it would be hard since I am either at school all day, or work, I have no free time for myself, school mon, wed, fri, constrution, tues, thurs, home depot credit, sat and sun, man this sucks[&o], but at least I'm making money.

personally I went with x-pipe and duall Flowmaster 40's .... Sound is nice and deep . I have about 4,000miles on the flowmasters and the sound really settles in and gets better..... everyone has their own opinion though.
