4.0 to 5.4 Swap

Turns out the 99-04 Lincoln Navigator has the same 5.4L 4V that comes in the S197 GT500 s of course not supercharged but it is still a v8 if i was to buy the whole car (03 Lincoln Navigator) which is only $1000 bucks cus it it for parts title is gone it cant get a new title cus blah blah blah... turns on and runs tho. Now if i was to buy that Lincoln... how hard would the electric be i will be getting computer and and everything THE WHOLE CAR i know i will be needing new tranny. New rearend butthose are hard parts im worried about the electric how does that work if i get the harness from the Lincoln and throw it in my stang would that work? Thanks for any input kinda holding back cus scared of electric **** not working right thanks guys

BIG, BIG job. If you go ahead, I would spend the money for a 5.4 Mustang harness. Using the Lincoln harness would require re-wiring, parts in wrong places, lacking Ford wiring diagrams would make it near impossible.
