Door ajar switch issue - no warnings or interior lights
Recently had the passenger door replaced after being tboned. Problem is that when the door is open or closed the window doesnt move slightly up and down. The interior lights do not come on where the door is opened and the DOOR AJAR warning is not displayed if the door is not closed all the way when the car is moving. I suspect the body shop did not reconnect a sensor. The power window works fine when using the window switches. Since the window isnt moving down slightly as the door is opened it is tearing up the rubber gasket and it is also annoying not to have interior lights when entering into the passenger door at night. I have looked at the schematics for the door but cannot determine where to start looking. If it's a fuse issue I dont know what fuse to look for,,, Any help... the body shop is not taking responsibility for it :-(
Kindest regards,
Kevin

Yeah, they missed something. They forget that the new coupes have that
feature, and don't even bother to test it. So, they didn't know, because they
didn't even mention it, so it went well over their heads, or, they didn't care...
Take it back and show them what the driver side window does, and what the
passenger side window is NOT doing. They are responsible, you took it there
to be fixed, and it's not.
