Default What is 47.5 ± 7.5 Nm torque?

I bought this exhaust tip for my v6 https://accessories.ford.com/v6-chrome-exhaust-tip.html and it says to torque it to 47.5 ± 7.5 Nm torque but I have no idea what this means. Is this 47.5 ft lbs? Im new to this stuff. Thanks

Most torque wrenches will also have both scales on the handle Ft/lbs and Nm

This is very true assuming he knows what a torque wrench is in the first place.

You did not need google to do the math... ± 7.5 means, plus or minus 7.5Nm

So, 47.5, plus or minus 7.5

1 Nm = 0.7 Lb-Ft. I try to remember it as Lb-Ft is ABOUT 3/4 of Nm. imp
