So I had it repaired, dropped it off and it took maybe 5 hours and I'm satisfied, I thought it was gonna cost way more. I already have touch up paint that I got on eBay awhile back the OEM motorcraft stuff, may put some clear coat over the cracked paint to help prevent more cracking but as it is now its barely noticeable. Happy that theirs no longer a super noticeable dent. (Took pictures in early damp morning so car is a bit moist.)

Also there was a crack and super fine dent near the wheel well that had paint taken off that I touched it up myself. Could of done better but it should help prevent more paint peeling I hope. Bottom right of this image near the wheel well you can see the spot that I touched up.

These are vintage ones, but they're on eBay...

You can also get the paint-less dent repair tools, from $28 - $80, more cost,
more pieces for different kinds of dents.
Thanks for your reply. I am asking because my husband has a nasty dent in the side rear quarter panel of his van. Since it is a Ford Cargo van without insulation, I should be able to work on it from the inside. I have watched guys fix dents before and would like to give it a try.
