Getting OBD code U0401. What next after battery and alternator?
Here we go, this might be a bit of a big one. Found this forum thru Google looking for advice on what to do to my car. First time Mustang owner.
I got a 2013 V6 and it randomly died in flight (battery light turned on, car died) replaced battery, same problem, replaced alternator, same problem. Paid 80 bucks for a diagnostic fee and mechanic said the car was giving out a U0401 code and it wouldn't clear, I looked it up online but I can't find any concrete arrows pointing as to what the issue of the car dying in flight might be. Anyone had this issue? Any possible solutions or suggestions? Thank you all!

The code is explained here:

It could be several things - but you've already replaced the battery and alternator you said. Check to see if you have water on the passenger side getting to the smart junction box. Something is causing a communication problem. The passenger side water leak is usually the cause.
