I need to send my Instrument cluster to get the step motors replaced.

Will the car run till I get it back fixed?? The repair guy said it probably wouldn't run but wasn't sure.

I know my 05 Super Duty had to get towed in when the cluster went bad.
I also know that in my 2013 there is programming in it so it will run, not sure if you could get a cluster out of a wrecked car and run it while yours is getting repaired.

Well it will run w/o a cluster although some things didn't work like the air conditioner.

Cluster is back in the car.

At first the Service engine soon light was coming on but it went away after a couple days.
