Default EXHAUST AND INTAKE FOR 06-V6

Does anyone have advice on what kind of exhaust to put on an 06-V6 mustang? I want something good, like Borla, but I'm not sure what or where to get it. Also, what kind of cold air intake would work the best and be the easiest to install (i.e. no computer reconfiguration) for the car?

I have the dual Maganflows on mine, I absolutely love them, and from what I have heard, so do many others. Here is a link for the Borla Cat Back exhaust system. http://www.lmperformance.com/5493/73.html. Here are some popular intakes as well. http://www.v6mustangstuff.com/05AirFuel.htm. Good luck.

Thanks. The only problem i run into though is that i dont have duel exhaust on it, so if i got duel i would have to get a new bumper so that it would look right.

Many people have gone with the GT bumper just because of the dual cut-outs already there. I just had my local muffler shop notch the bumper on the other side for the new exhaust, it looks great. It really depends on if you want to pay the extra for the new GT bumper.

Well I have seen GT bumpers on the internet for around $200, and I would imagine that notching it would be a lot less. I couldnt see notching it costing more than $20.

i got the JBA True Dual and i love em also (just got em installed so we'll see how they work out in the long run). i also got an AEM Brute Force intake kit and it was pretty simple to install and didnt require a computer tune. it also looks pretty awesome under the hood in my opinion. as for the bumper, i notched it out myself and it came out pretty darn good on the first try. i just used a real sharp husky utility knife and the bumper cover cut like butter (the plastic is pretty soft) so it can be done and look good. i suggest you listen to as many sound clips as you can from different mufflers to find the sound/muffler that you like best (thats what i did). everyone has different tastes and preferences on sound and so will you.

i got it from rpmoutlet.com......i purchased it as a combo deal that included the AEM kit and a Diablo Predator Tuner for $490. it was the best deal i found for both. by itself, the AEM runs at about $240.

What's the big difference in cold air and other intake systems?
