Default Okay---what is it??

On the front seats, near the "hinge point" of the seats, there is that short "belt like" piece that has a snap (and I think a magnet) on the end. It's chrome tipped.

It snaps in place okay, but what in the world is it?? It isn't obvious to me...sometimes it comes unhooked...

No pictures for this, but I wonder if somebody who knows what I'm talking about, knows that this is?

I think that's to hold the seat belt... or well, the bottom part of the seat belt at least...

Why you'd need it, I have no idea... never used mine...

Slip your seat belt strap under it and fasten with the magnet. Then you don't have to reach all the way to the back to get the seat belt on.

Thanks for the tips, guys.

Okay, I suspected it might be seat belt related, but hadn't tried it out.

Our kids get in/out of the back a good bit, so wonder how that fits in with the scheme? Guess we'll try it out!

yup. its for the seatbelt......it doesn't work very good though....the concept is good cuz u dont have to dislocate your shoulder to reach the seatbelt but the darn little magnet doesnt stay attached. mine pops off frequently so i hardly use it......the upside to all this is that i've become a little more flexible with my left shoulder....lol.

its deffinatly for the seatbelt so you dont have to reach back as far to get the belt, cuz its a 2 dr... most 2 doors have one cuz the belts latched so far back... simple quality engineering

You could also use it to store your dates panties and bra on so they don't get lost under the seat!
