Default Rode in an 05 GT

I go up to best buy all the time, and theres always this silver GT with tinted windows and borla exhaust... and tonight i went up there and was backin in next to it, and the guy who owns it came out and was off i guess and complimented my 6er... and i asked if he'd take me for a ride.

It was rather fun.... he did a long *** burnout in a nearly full parking lot, almost ran over a little kid, and just about ran into the back of an old volvo... but it was fun as hell and that car is fast as ****.

/rant

sorry... it was just fun and no one i told thus far seemed to care at all... no one here shares my passion for stangs.

I have as much passion for 'stangs as anyone, but what you described wasn't "fun" it was just stupid and dangerous. The reason you're not getting much reaction from folks is they probably don't want to tell you how foolish that was when you're obviously all pumped up over it.

Chancing hitting another car or worse a little kid in a crowded parking lot is NOT the sort of image builder the Mustang community needs... [sm=badidea.gif]

Yeah, I know you weren't driving. You just sounded way more positive about the experience than seemed warranted.

And given the situation, you'd have to be dead not to have some sort of major adrenaline response

There's no fun in running over little kids. There's more points for seniors. J/K

*** Stand On Soapbox ***

Having fun is all about risk assessment, what are the consequences of hitting kids, cars, etc.? Burnouts should be done in areas where damage to you, the car, or anyone is minimized. Same goes for driving fast.

*** Step Off Soapbox ***

Anyways, just be careful.
