Does Ford have a recomendation, or is anything mentioned in the manual? I wont spend the extra $ if its no better than regular oil, or especially if Ford says not to use it.

I had mine changed at 1800 miles to Mobile 1 (fully synthetic). I'll change it about every 3000-4000 miles with Mobile 1 from now on.

Personally.....Whether I have synthetic in my 05 or 10w30 in my 73, I never let them go over 2500 miles between oil changes. But on my 73 ,I change it as soon as the oil starts changing color.
