Exhaust Help!

Since I’m a newbie I’d like to say Hello from Sin City. I also have a few questions about exhaust on my ’06. I have plenty of plans for mods and I need to know what’s best.

JBA Duals?
JBA Axle Back?

The first priority is the sound and a distant second is the cost. Can y’all give me some advice? Thanks!

Well of course the duals will sound better then the axelback but the duals will also be about $300 more. If i were you i would just save and get the duals, the only thing is that with the duals from jba you will have to cut your bumber or get a gt bumper.

Why do people spend SOOOOO much for Borla, Flowmaster, JBA, MAC, blah blah blah??? It's just a muffler and piping man. Do you think that the Borla muffler really is going to add that much HP over say any other high flow muffer?

Local muffler shop ran duals for me (I know them so I got a bit of a discount, but I don't know them that well)
2 glasspacks midcar, 3" by 21" tips where the stock mufflers were located, sticking out the back a little to help resonate the sound a little, and looks really nice. (yea I know, I need to take a pic)

Here's a clip: http://www.hedkrash.com/Recording1.wav (made the recording with a PDA, so it isn't that great, and it's a bit crackly)

Price: $240 (and that includes installation)

Took a few weeks for the glasspacks to break in, but that was expected. I don't even have the annoying drone between 1800-2000 that a lot of people have complained about with some of these exhausts.

Ok. So tell me about the Magnaflows then. Does it sound good? How much did you pay and obivously there wasn't any cutting involved?

I paid 414 all together from rpmoutlet.com and i installed it myself not hard the only problem is that with any dual kit unless you have a lift you will have to chop the midpipe in half. To me it sounds good i like it, and i have had plenty of people tell me that it sounds like a v8... at least thats what they say. And me personally i had my muffler off for about 2wks and i loved how that used to sound:D but then when i put the magnaflows on and they broke in i loved them.
