Default MAC Single Exhaust System

Anyone with it PLEASE post a sound clip... i have yet to hear it and am trying to narrow my decisions

i heard a GT with the MAC's and was extremely pleased with the unique sound- and wanted to see if they produced the same results for the v6

I had one in my hands and just couldn't stick that 4" near-coffee can of a pipe on my ride. Sold it on ebay.

I've heard they sound great at idle and get whiney at higher rpm's really fast.

I really hope that isn't the case. I just bought a single MAC for my v6, hasn't come in yet.

I had the dual MAC setup for the V6. Didn't like 'em. I switched to GT takeoffs.

What didn't you like about them?

One word: drone

At idle or taking off they sounded great, but on the highway, cruising around 2200-2500 RPM they would set up a resonance so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation without shouting, or listen to the radio.

I would just save up a little more and go with some type of true dual x or h pipe.
