the tires they ordered for me are 235/55/17 the guy said that was the closest to the 27" diameter of the stock tires. so i should have them on tomorrow ill post how it turns out.

that isnt bad. i wish he woulda ordered you the 245's though cause a 255 will even fit an 8" wide wheel. since they are temporary though you shouldnt be too bad off

yah, i ran 255's on the 18x8 just fine witha 27" O.D. you should be fine though, they will just be a little narrower then what you can actually fit on there. the fitment book calls for that size tire, but more times then not you can go bigger, he musta not known that. its all good tho, you will still be very pleased. what tire did you go with?

the rims actually look good on the car, i got some ok tires for right now...not enough meat for me....they are 235/45 kumhos but i only got them because my friend hooked me up with them for 260 installed. So in a couple months ill get him to get me some real tires.

255/50/17...the best tires to put...

i have them on my car. I have the hankook st w-speed rated. They are suv tires, but they GRAB. The speedo will not be off too...
