Well the first mod i am going to put on my 05 v6 when i get it is do a tune and an exhust i am wondering wich one i should save up to buy i heard flowmasters where pretty good i want the car to sound like it did in the 70's and have some added power also i heard somthign about electronic drop boxes ne info on them would be awsome to thanx

do you mean an electric cut out, where you press a button inside the car and a cutout on the exhaust opens up?

yea thats what i am talking about but i also need to know wich one to get what is best for a deep roar on the car

ok...what you need to do is buy two flowmaster 40 mufflers and have any muffler shop do a custom pipe job with an H pipe or X pipe...this whole set up will run you about 700 to 750..depends on the shop...this will give you a deep throaty sound to the car...sounds great and the duals look good too...the car already has two cats so just have the shop cut off the pipes after the cats and instead of a y pipe to one muffler extend the pipes with a cross-pipe to two mufflers

thanx sounds good Ok heres my deal i am 15 i have my permit and a drove a v6 for the day and fell in love with the car itself i havent drove the GT yet but i am going to before i buy a mustang. I am going to buy about when the 07's come out so it will be cheaper for me. I can get one for whole sale cost we have friends that are a dealer i get 10 grand from my dad and make payments on the rest. I am looking not to spend more then 7 or 8 out of my pocket so about 18 total for the car itself tops. I would rather get a GT and he already said i could if i found one for a affordable price. Can anyone tell me if thye think i can get a 05 GT in october or so wholesale cost for under 18 if so i think i will go with that car. Also i looked into insurance and it said the same for boths cars on all the sites i went on is that true or no ?

i'd say if you have the cash to get an 05 GT, just settle back a year or so and get yourself a cobra... i still wish i could have gotten an 03 or 04 GT vs my 05 v6, i just love the v8 power... but my mom required me to have side airbags and only the 05's have them...
