Default RE: Hubbys NEW 05 stang just died!

Sounds exactly like what happened to mine over the holiday. Left it in the garage for 10 days and the battery was seriously dead when I got back. Since I'd just had the 10k inspection & some other work done two weeks & 300 miles before (and they managed to further lower my opinion of Ford service in the process), I had no qualms about letting Ford tow it 25 miles to the dealer and replace the battery. The tow truck drive tried to tell me batteries weren't covered under warranty, but I have plenty of experience otherwise. Average life of original battery in my last three new Ford vehicles? 15 months. You'd think they'd learn it's less expensive if the battery outlasts the warranty.
